Supporting weather forecasting at a world-class level - Hitachi

Weather forecasting by the Japan Meteorological Agency is recognized as world-class. Forecasts are made on the basis of high-speed calculations made in a short period of time, using massive data from satellites and observatories around the world. Those calculations are performed using supercomputer systems.
