CES 2018 New Products - Kingston Technology
We sent our friend Khail Anonymous to CES 2018 in Las Vegas to speak with our specialists about our current and new product offerings for 2018! (0:16) At Kingston’s hotel suite at the Venetian, Khail spoke with Strategic Marketer, Brian Roberts, about the Nucleum™ USB-C Hub which expands the types of ports available for USB-C MacBook Pros, and discuess the DataTraveler Bolt™ Duo which is a handy way for iOS device users to back up their photos and videos and free up disk space on the go. (1:18) Next Khail spoke with Kingston’s Strategic Marketer for Encrypted Flash Drives, Ruben Lugo. They discuss our secure drive with an alphanumeric keypad, the DataTraveler® DT2000, our hardware encrypted DataTraveler® DTVP30, and our IronKey D300 and S1000 which, along with hardware encryption, respectively feature zinc or aluminum casing, and an epoxy-coated board which makes them both waterproof and physically tamper-evident. (2:22) Khail then visited Cameron Crandall, Kingston’s Senior Technology Manager, to talk about two HyperX products: the HyperX Savage EXO external SSD which expands storage for gaming consoles, and the HyperX FURY RGB SATA SSD, which uses 3D NAND technology and RGB lighting that can be controlled through several popular RGB control platforms. Cameron then showed off Kingston’s newest SSDs, the UV500, which will be Kingson’s first 3D NAND SSD. It uses ASE 256-bit encryption and TGV Opal 2.0 to keep data secure and managed. Then he showed Kingston’s first entry-level consumer-grade PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD, the A1000. Lastly, Cameron showed the DCU1000 PCIe NVMe U.2 SSD, which provides next-level disk read/write speeds for high-volume rack-mount server applications. (4:20) Khail also spoke with Kington’s development partner for PCIe NVMe products, Senior Solutions Architect, Mark Noland from Liqid Inc., about how native 8K video payback and editing is possible with our DCP1000 and DCU1000 PCIe NVMe SSDs. #cse2018 Subscribe to Kingston: https://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=KingstonTechMemory
